About Dr. & EleVive
Clinical psychologist, sports therapist and mom of two teens, Dr. Elizabeth Lombardo decided to launch EleVive when she realized that our kids rarely learn the valuable coping skills they need — including stress management and resilience — to succeed in today’s complicated world.
Applying the same proven techniques that have earned her loyal clients for more than 20 years, including Olympic athletes and top C-suite executives, she developed the program to empower young people and their parents by offering them real strategies for real-life challenges.
Dr. E uses a cutting-edge, science-based approach to transform and optimize mindset, as all our thoughts and behaviors start with nerves firing in a certain pattern within the brain. Neuro-Regenerative Training™, or NRT, is a patented system she created that uses neuroscientific principles to rewire the brain and boost performance. Going far beyond “positive thinking,” NRT relies on neuroplasticity — the ability of neural pathways in the brain to change — to literally reprogram how the brain functions, leading to greater happiness, health and success.
Based on NRT principles, EleVive helps teens overcome negative patterns and establish positive ones, so they can elevate their mindset and thrive. Consider it the customized training your children will never receive in school — a practical toolkit that will set them up for success in every aspect of their lives, including sports, academics, performing arts and social situations, now and in the future.

As a speaker and consultant, he helps individuals and organizations such as CDW, Horizon Pharma, Assertio, and 9 Energy, develop leadership and performance strategies, so they can plan, prepare, and execute at the highest level-when it matters most!
Met Coach Amy Cardamone
Former dance instructor
Amy Cardamone is a wife and mother of two teenagers. She attended the prestigious Interlochen Arts Academy for three years and moved on to major in dance at Point Park University. Pursuing her love of dance and performing, she worked as a performing apprentice with River North Dance Company in Chicago. She then shifted her path and taught dance for 21 years at Jenny’s Dance Centre as well as Lake Forest Dance Academy.
It was in teaching where Amy found her true passion of teaching and helping develop the career of the young dancer. Moving on from her own dance career, in order to have more time home with her family in the evenings, Amy took on the role as a teaching assistant at a school in Grayslake. She was able to make strong connections with children of all ages, both at the studio and in education, enhancing their skills, training and building strong relationships. Amy is grateful to now have the opportunity to continue her passion of preparing and providing skills for young people to becoming their truest, most resilient self.
Dr. E decided to develop EleVive as a result of seeing how teens - and their parents - can struggle during these years. Knowing that true success is predicted by non-academic factors such as stress management, grit, growth mindset, and a healthy sense of self, she created an avenue to teach these skills to adolescents and their families using the latest in neuroscience research. The ultimate goal is to empower our young people to flourish in the present and future.
